I rescued a starling and had him in a 18x18"cage. This bed was way too large for for the bed. It would be suitable for a mackaw size bird.

Got this for my Caique parrot. He's usually afraid of new toys, but he took to this one instantly. It is pretty small and the pictures they advertise of a Macaw on it are misleading, this would never work for a bird that size. My Caique is about 9" long head to tail so the pic gives you an idea on size.The other thing bird owners should be aware of is that the metal used is not stainless. The bells are actually yellow underneath and painted a silver color. This is important if you have a bird that is a metal chewer as certain metals are toxic to birds.

I was hoping this would work for my birds better than it is. There are bells so they'll play with it, but the chain is terrible (instead of 3 separate chains, it is one small chain and one double long chain that shifts awkwardly. Further, the basket just sits in the hole and nothing holds it in place, so it's not very stable.
