While everything is OK quality, it is just a lot of plastic pieces. It will work fine for light duty usage at home but if you are going to travel with it much, you'll want to get a hard-sided container for the pole pieces to prevent breakage. The highest quality materials are in the treat bag, whistle and small water/food bowl. I would expect a step or two higher quality plastic considering the price.

My dogs aren't agility pros and never will be, but this is a really fun set to play with on rainy days. It adds enrichment and a fun activity. It's a versatile set and also easy to store. It's sturdy enough for our use.

This set comes with lots of pieces, and although it’s plastic, they are fairly sturdy. Everything is easy to assemble and break down afterwards, and the storage bags are nice. Also good to have those because there are a lot of parts! Because everything is plastic, it’s lightweight, but not so light that it can’t take a dog’s body bumping into it.We have one older dog who isn’t very interested in learning new things, but enjoys jumping over the bars while we trot beside him. Our younger dog is having a blast! She loves the tunnel (the included sandbags are good for keeping it steady) and is currently trying to figure out the slalom: she can’t quite understand that we want her to go back and forth through the entire row and not just in between one set at a time. This kind of learning is fun for us and keeps her engaged (as well as using up all that energy!).If you have an active, intelligent dog and the yard space, a set like this is a good investment and worth the money. A tired dog is a happy dog, and agility training is more fun than simply playing catch or going for walks.
